Role: API Developer (REST, Microservices, Cloud)
Location: Toronto, ON - Hybrid
Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to the migration of existing Azure / PCF applications to Atlas , including analysis, refactoring, and deployment.
- Refactor backend services and UI components to ensure cloud‑native readiness , scalability, and performance.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects, DevOps, and platform teams to implement migration strategies and target‑state designs.
- Update and maintain CI/CD pipelines, deployment scripts, and environment configurations to meet Atlas standards.
- Ensure applications meet security, compliance, resiliency, logging, and monitoring requirements post‑migration.
- Support integration with REST APIs, Microservices, and API Gateway during migration and stabilization.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience (5-6 years) with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and API Gateways .
- Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms , preferably GCP / Atlas , with exposure to Azure or PCF environments.
- Strong debugging, performance optimization, and problem‑solving skills.
