Role Description
Responsibilities
- Build RESTful and event-driven APIs to enable interoperability across legacy and modern systems
- Implement API standards for security, performance, versioning, and documentation
- Collaborate with Solution Architects, BSAs, and platform teams to deliver API-led solutions
- Support cloud-native development, CI/CD pipelines, and automation practices
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security, regulatory, and data governance standards
- Troubleshoot performance, availability, and integration issues across environments
Required Skill Set
- Years of experience in API and backend development within BFSI or regulated environments
- Strong expertise in REST APIs, microservices, and integration patterns
- Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS)
- Experience with API gateways, authentication (OAuth2/JWT), and API lifecycle management
- Strong problem‑solving and cross‑team collaboration skills
