Role: AWS DevOps Engineer with CrowdStrike

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)
Required Skills
- Strong experience with AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, Cloud Watch)
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline
- Experience with Terraform or Cloud Formation for Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (EKS)
- Experience with Linux administration and shell scripting (Bash/Python)
- Hands‑on experience with Crowd Strike Falcon (EDR, endpoint protection, threat detection)
- Experience with Git and version control
- Monitoring and logging using Cloud Watch, Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk
- Understanding of cloud security, IAM, and security best practices
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Responsibilities
- Build, automate, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for application deployments.
- Provision infrastructure using Terraform or Cloud Formation.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Administer and support Crowd Strike Falcon for endpoint security and threat detection.
- Monitor security alerts, investigate incidents, and coordinate remediation activities.
- Implement security best practices, IAM policies, and vulnerability management.
- Monitor application and infrastructure performance and resolve operational issues.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure secure and reliable deployments.
- Maintain documentation and support continuous improvement of DevOps and security processes.
Preferred
- AWS Certification (Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer)
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, QRadar)
- Knowledge of scripting using Python or PowerShell
- Experience with DevSecOps practices and cloud security automation
