We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Azure Data Engineer to join our team in Eindhoven. This role is ideal for someone who can design end‑to‑end data solutions, build scalable pipelines, and work confidently across modern Azure cloud environments. You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver robust, high‑quality data engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design data engineering solutions independently based on high‑level architecture.
• Build and optimize data pipelines, including ingestion from diverse data sources and preprocessing using Azure Databricks.
• Develop and maintain structured streaming and batch pipelines using PySpark.
• Work closely with customers to understand data lake, pipeline, and migration requirements.
• Monitor and support Azure DevOps and Databricks pipelines, ensuring reliability and performance.
• Participate in support activities, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Learn and apply Azure monitoring and logging services to improve observability and operational excellence.

Must‑Have Skills (3+ years ideally)

• Python
• SQL & NoSQL databases
• Azure Databricks / PySpark (structured streaming & batch)
• Azure services: ADLS, Databricks, EventHub, SQL DW, Azure Functions, Serverless Architecture
• Terraform (theoretical knowledge required; practical experience is a plus)
