In this role, you will take ownership of back-end development and system performance, working on mission-critical platforms that support real-time client interactions and data flow. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering disciplines to solve complex technical challenges and contribute to the continuous evolution of the organisation's technology stack. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure client-facing web systems Design and implement back-end APIs and core business logic for new features and enhancements Build and manage integrations between hardware systems, mobile applications, and web platforms Monitor, maintain, and optimise cloud databases, servers, and system performance Manage and maintain DevOps pipelines to ensure continuous integration and delivery Respond to system incidents and ensure minimal downtime through effective troubleshooting Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver cohesive solutions Job Experience and Skills Required: Education: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred) Experience: Minimum 5+ years' experience in back-end or software development Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Java and frameworks, such as Spring Boot Experience working with cloud platforms, particularly AWS Solid understanding of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps) Strong database experience (MSSQL, MySQL, and cloud databases) Experience in API development and system integration Exposure to .NET and full stack development is advantageous Additional Competencies: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to optimise system performance and scalability Excellent collaboration and communication skills Apply now!
