Backend Developer

We are looking for an enthusiastic Backend Developer , capable of managing their work in an agile and autonomous manner, meeting deadlines and collaborating with other professionals on a daily basis.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As a Backend Developer at Synextya, you will work to integrate yourself with the existing multi-disciplinary teams as well as contributing to and adding functionality to ongoing projects already on the market and/or structuring new projects.

You will collaborate with other developers and management figures, as well as having senior colleagues as a point of reference.

We encourage the use of solutions which offer performance and security and at the same time consider new and alternative ideas, always taking into account the project requirements.

HOW YOU WILL WORK

Our focus is always on improving and trying out new technologies. We do not stop at current skills but work on continuous professional growth.

We do not use frameworks as we always reflect on the best technical solution to adopt in relation to the needs of the project.

WHERE YOU WILL WORK

We have a fantastic office available in Bologna at Via Fioravanti 27.

Working to objectives, your presence is not always required: we are used to smart and/or remote working. If you prefer an office workstation, we will be happy to set it up for you!

SALARY

Remuneration hourly or daily, with VAT number, to be determined on the basis of experience and skills. We even evaluate project collaborations and/or continuous collaborations on an annual basis, with minimum guaranteed monthly hours.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Must have: you are in the right place if you ...

• Conduct performance analysis and optimisation
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers and the rest of the team on digital product development
• You keep up to date with the latest developments in technologies, coding trends, best practices and bring them into your daily work by engaging with the team in constructive and educational discussions
• You like to challenge yourself with projects of different types and which belong to different industries
• You have at least 3 years' experience in web development
• You have the ability to work in a heterogeneous team (technical, creative, strategic) and to manage assigned projects and feedback proactively and responsibly
• You have good pattern knowledge, abstraction and problem solving skills
• You have experience with a modern development workflow based on the most common build tools
• You have experience in using Git
• You take initiative and are curious about new technologies, qualities that allow you to face the continuous technological evolution
