Overview
We are looking for an experienced Backend Engineer to develop scalable backend services and APIs using Python. This role focuses on platform engineering, system design, and building secure, high-performance applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services using Python.
- Design and build RESTful APIs and integrations.
- Contribute to scalable platform and system architecture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver backend solutions.
- Optimize application performance, security, and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews and follow engineering best practices.
- 5–10+ years of backend development experience.
- Strong Python development skills.
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and OpenAPI.
- Solid understanding of system design and distributed applications.
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in financial services or fintech.
- Knowledge of microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with security and high-availability systems.
