Cloud Deployment Infrastructure Program Manager

Experienced and strategic Cloud Deployment Infrastructure Program Manager to lead our cloud infrastructure projects and programs. This role will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex cloud deployments, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and technical requirements. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale cloud initiatives, optimizing cloud environments, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve project success.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage multiple cloud deployment projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within scope, budget, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to define cloud strategies, roadmaps, and migration plans that align with business objectives and technological advancements.
• Direct and coordinate cross-functional teams of cloud architects, engineers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective project execution and problem resolution.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, managing expectations and facilitating clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify potential risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively address challenges to minimize project disruptions and ensure successful outcomes.
• Oversee relationships with cloud service providers and third-party vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
• Implement best practices and process improvements to enhance cloud deployment efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize resource utilization.
• Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success, generate reports, and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure management or program management or leadership role overseeing large-scale cloud deployment projects.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), cloud deployment tools and infrastructure management.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies. PMP or similar project management certification is advantageous.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams toward achieving project goals.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen focus on performance metrics, risk assessment, and strategic planning.
