The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to join a high-performing technology team delivering modern cloud platforms and AI-enabled digital capabilities. Working on an initial contract through to 31 December 2026, with strong extension potential (up to 5 years), you'll play a key role in building secure, scalable, and automated cloud delivery capabilities that support innovative customer-facing solutions. Based in Carseldine, this role offers a hybrid working arrangement within a collaborative, engineering-led environment.
About the Role
You'll work across cloud engineering, automation, and DevSecOps to establish secure delivery foundations and improve platform reliability, scalability, and operational resilience.
- Design and build CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Automate AWS cloud infrastructure and deployment processes
- Champion DevSecOps and GitOps best practices across delivery
- Implement monitoring, observability, and operational improvements
- Build reusable cloud delivery patterns supporting AI-enabled platforms
About You
You're an experienced Cloud DevOps Engineer who enjoys automating infrastructure, improving engineering practices, and enabling secure cloud delivery at scale.
- Strong hands-on AWS experience across networking, IAM, ECS, and serverless services
- Proven Terraform expertise for Infrastructure as Code
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, and modern DevOps practices
- Strong scripting skills using Python and/or Bash
- Solid understanding of cloud networking, security, secrets management, and automation
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across technical and business teams
