Lead cloudops software engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Cloud Ops Software Engineer to lead the design and development of the core software systems that power our cloud deployment automation and tenant management platform. This is a hands‑on engineering role focused on building scalable, reliable, and maintainable applications that enable the provisioning, configuration, deployment, and lifecycle management of customer environments across a modern multi-cloud Saa S ecosystem.

The ideal candidate combines strong full-stack software engineering expertise with a passion for cloud-native technologies and platform automation. Responsibilities es Own the full-stack design and implementation of the Tenant Manager platform, including tenant deployment workflows, infrastructure configuration manageme nt Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers in both software development and cloud deployment best practice s. Design and develop Infrastructure-as-code automation for Terraform, K8s, Snowflake, and while also executing customer tenant migrations in Analytics and Insight s. Manage and optimize AWS based (EKS) K8s clusters and workloads using Argo CD, Flux, and Hel m. Work with the Product Engineering teams in building out the specifications and provide scalable, reliable platforms for the automation/delivery platfo rm Operate and maintain orchestration routines in producti on Complete periodic application software and infrastructure updates and software version upgrad es Support product development teams in the delivery of continuous integration, continuous deployment, providing templates and patterns to follow to ensure code produced by product development teams can be deployed and scaled on standardized technologies and platfor ms Perform root cause analysis for production issues where the root cause is in infrastructure, environment, configuration, or deployment routines; understand when to elevate to product development teams; remediate root causes and implement preventative actio ns Participate in 24/7 on-call support including shift rotations where requir ed Able to communicate effectively and work as a team member to manage all cloud-based systems used within the environme What are we looking f or Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development, with an emphasis on cloud-based application deploym ent Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experie nce Additional experience may be a substitute for an advanced Degr ee. Advanced experience with modern web development frameworks and technologies such as Next.js, React, Node.js, Material UI, and ORM technologies (Type ORM, e tc)Advanced experience with distributed application patterns and modern frontend architecture, including resilience patterns, state management, and real-time communication technolog ies Advanced understanding of software engineering principals, including source control and principles such as Git Ops Advanced knowledge and experience with Kubernetes, Flux, Terraform or equivalent technolog ies Advanced knowledge of AWS services, including EKS, EFS, RDS, ECS, etc Strong Java, Python, and Git experie nce Ability to handle a heavy workload with multiple projects and frequent interrupti ons Ability to work in a changing, dynamic environm ent Strong problem-solving ability across applications and their supporting infrastructure in a cloud environm ent Strong written and verbal communication ski #J-18808-Ljbffr
