LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing family business company in the Oklahoma City, OK area to fill a hands-on Controller to lead day-to-day accounting operations and support continued growth. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and taking ownership across the full accounting cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting functions including Accounts Receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger activity
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
- Prepare financial reports and provide insights to leadership
- Handle account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Partner with an external CPA firm on tax preparation, audits, and financial reporting
- Monitor cash flow and support budgeting and forecasting efforts
- Assist with process improvements and implementation of best practices as the company scales
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong experience with Accounts Receivable and account reconciliations
- Experience working with external CPA firms
- Proficiency in QuickBooks preferred
- Solid understanding of GAAP principles
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Effective communicator with a collaborative, team-oriented approach
