Job Title
The successful Controller for our client will serve as the senior financial leader for the business, providing strategic guidance that drives operational performance, financial discipline, and long-term profitability.
Core Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
- 5+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
Preferred Requirements:
- CPA and/or MBA
- Experience in a SOX-compliant environment
- ERP proficiency
Responsibilities:
- Provide financial leadership for all accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting activities across the business
- Deliver meaningful financial analysis that supports strategic planning, capital investments, operational improvements, and profit growth
- Safeguard the integrity of financial reporting by maintaining strong internal controls, regulatory compliance, and audit readiness
- Monitor manufacturing costs, inventory, cash flow, and key financial metrics while identifying risks and opportunities to improve business performance
- Build a high-performing finance organization by strengthening processes, developing talent, and enhancing reporting capabilities
