Seeking a highly skilled Onsite Coordinator / Lead Full Stack Developer to serve as the primary liaison between stakeholders, onsite team, and an established offshore development team supporting critical initiatives.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role requiring both strong development expertise and the ability to coordinate daily activities across global teams. The ideal candidate will lead project execution, facilitate communication, remove roadblocks, and actively contribute to software development efforts.
The offshore team has been supporting eSales projects for the past several months, and we are looking for a consultant who can step in and provide strong technical leadership, delivery oversight, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the onsite technical lead for multiple eSales development initiatives.
- Act as the primary point of contact between onsite dev partners, product owners, and offshore development teams.
- Conduct daily morning standups with offshore resources to review priorities, progress, and blockers.
- Hold end-of-day coordination sessions to review deliverables, status updates, and next-day objectives.
- Provide technical leadership and hands-on development across the full application stack.
- Review solution designs, code quality, and implementation approaches to ensure best practices are followed.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and actionable development tasks.
- Monitor project progress, manage risks, and escalate issues when necessary.
- Collaborate with architects, QA teams, and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
- Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
- Mentor developers and promote continuous improvement within the team.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of software development experience with at least 2+ years in a technical lead role.
- Strong experience leading distributed onsite/offshore development teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to coordinate development efforts across multiple workstreams and time zones.
- Hands-on full stack development experience.
Technical Skills
- Java / Spring Boot
- REST APIs and Microservices Architecture
- Angular or React
- JavaScript / TypeScript
- SQL and relational databases
- Git, CI/CD pipelines
- Cloud technologies (AWS preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting eCommerce, eSales, customer portal, or digital customer-facing applications.
- Prior experience within insurance or financial services environments.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies.
- Experience reviewing architecture, estimating effort, and guiding technical direction.
