Senior Java Developer
Location - Iselin, New Jersey (hybrid 5 days in office over every 2 weeks)
Duration - 1+ year contract
Core java server-side developer with 10+ years experience, with greater (6+ years) emphasis (recent work experience) on back-end (not front-end/UI)
Project description
This is a position within the Derivatives Development team for a Senior Java Developer. Looking for a candidate with strong hands-on experience in Core Java, Spring Framework, and messaging technologies. Can handle multiple priorities / task & handle BAU book of work.
Responsibilities
- Hands on Senior Java Developer with enterprise development experience, Spring Framework, and messaging technologies
- Work with multiple business teams
- Provide work estimates as needed
- Develop system architectures, designs and concepts
- Provide technical guidance and be a technical mentor to the development team
- Design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements
- Participate in all phases of software delivery lifecycle from analysis through support.
Skills Must have
- 10+ years of core Java server, back-end, development experience
- Experienced Java Developer (JDK 11 or 17)
- Enterprise services (including observability, configuration management and cloud deployment)
- Spring Framework
- Message Drive Application development (Kafka, Active MQ or similar)
- Spring (including Spring Boot and Spring Boot Actuator)
- Apache Camel (Version 3)
- REST API (including Enterprise Authentication and Authentication)
- Enterprise services (including monitoring, state management)
- JMS (Active MQ or similar)
- MS SQL Server and/or Sybase experience
- Working knowledge of Agile, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, SonarQube)
