Summary:
As a Software Engineer – FX Linear Lifecycle & Risk, you will design, develop, and enhance digital products and technology services supporting FX Cash Trading. You will build scalable, reliable, and secure solutions while working in an agile environment, collaborating with global teams, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The role involves software development, production support, observability, automation, and continuous improvement of business-critical trading applications.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and enhance digital products and technology services.
Analyze business requirements and implement new features.
Ensure application quality, security, reliability, and compliance.
Build observability, monitor production systems, and resolve incidents.
Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.
Collaborate with business users, IT teams, and stakeholders globally.
Support L3 production activities and participate in release management.
Contribute to engineering best practices, knowledge sharing, and hiring initiatives.
Advocate client needs and drive continuous improvement.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Strong hands-on experience in C++ development.
Expertise in multithreading, low-latency, and real-time systems.
Good understanding of DBMS (MS SQL, Sybase, Oracle preferred).
Experience with middleware such as IBM MQ and Kafka.
Exposure to DevOps, build and release management (GitLab preferred).
Experience with Azure Cloud technologies.
Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, presentation, and technical documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and in Agile teams.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in C++ Programming Language.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
Ideally 8+ years of software development experience in the financial services domain.
Experience with FX Trading or Capital Markets is preferred.
Strong English communication skills are required.
Willingness to support production and collaborate with global teams.
