As aDatabase Developer , you will design, develop, and optimize scalable database solutions that support enterprise applications and analytics platforms.
This role requires a strong balance betweenhands-on SQL development, data engineering practices, and problem-solving capabilities , working closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
What You'll Do Design and develop database objects including tables, views, stored procedures, and functions.
Write and optimize complex SQL queries for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using tools such asSSIS, Azure Data Factory (ADF), or similar .
Develop and support reporting and analytics solutions usingSSRS and SSAS .
Participate actively inend-to-end development cycles , including design, development, testing, and deployment.
Collaborate with engineering, QA, and product teams in anAgile environment .
Troubleshoot complex data and performance issues, applying strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across systems.
Document technical solutions and clearly communicate design decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What You'll Bring 5+ years of experience indatabase development (not only administration/support) .
Strong expertise inSQL Server and advanced SQL(CTEs, window functions, query optimization).
Proven experience buildingETL/ELT pipelinesand working with data transformation processes.
Hands-on experience withSSIS, SSRS, and SSAS .
Solid understanding ofdata modeling and database design .
Stronganalytical thinking and problem-solving skills , with the ability to handle complex and nuanced scenarios.
Experience working inAgile environmentsand participating in iterative development cycles.
Familiarity withtesting practices, validation frameworks, or data quality processes .
Ability to clearly and confidentlycommunicate technical concepts in a structured manner .
Nice to Have Experience with cloud platforms (Azure / AWS).
Knowledge of NoSQL databases.
Exposure to modern data engineering tools or frameworks.
