Senior .NET Developer
Location: Brussels, Belgium
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – minimum 2 days per week on-site

Daily Rate: €560–€700
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior .NET Developer to join a professional development team working on robust, scalable and secure software solutions within a Microsoft technology environment.
You will play a key role in designing, developing and maintaining .NET applications while providing technical guidance to other developers. You will work closely with architects, functional analysts and other technical stakeholders to translate business requirements into high-quality technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software components using C# and .NET / .NET Core.
- Design scalable, maintainable and secure software solutions.
- Develop ASP.NET Web APIs, REST APIs and MVC applications.
- Work with Entity Framework Core and SQL Server.
- Implement authentication and authorization using technologies such as JWT, OIDC and claims.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development best practices.
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests.
- Analyse functional requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Identify and resolve technical and performance issues.
- Contribute to application security, performance and maintainability.
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies where they provide business value.
- Provide technical mentoring and coaching to other team members.
- Collaborate with architects, analysts and developers in an Agile environment.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong experience with C# / .NET and .NET Core
- ASP.NET Web API
- REST APIs
- REST / Swagger / OpenAPI
- Entity Framework Core
- MVC
- SQL Server
- Authentication & Authorization – JWT, OIDC, claims
- Unit and integration testing
- Experience with Blazor is an advantage.
