About the role

Key responsibilities
- Explore and evaluate system solution requirements, engaging with stakeholders to advise on the most suitable development strategies.
- Develop and maintain high-quality program code that aligns with system specifications and accredited quality benchmarks.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of system program needs, pinpointing technological gaps and weaknesses in current systems and workflows.
- Perform rigorous testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of application code, adhering to established testing frameworks and quality guidelines.
- Produce and regularly update comprehensive technical documentation, user guides, and operational manuals.
- Oversee software testing and deployment automation, while building continuous integration and delivery processes across the development lifecycle.
- Remain current with emerging technologies, integrating relevant innovations into existing and new projects to boost efficiency and user satisfaction.
Skills and qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in IT, Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
- At least 3 years of hands-on professional experience in a Developer Programmer role or a comparable position.
- Proven proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, PHP, C++, or similar.
- Practical experience in writing, testing, debugging, and sustaining production-level code.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and collaborative abilities.
