What you'll do:
- Provision and manage resilient cloud environments in Azure and AWS, leveraging automation to maintain the highest standards of security, performance, and availability.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate the deployment of Garmin cloud products and services.
- Architect and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines that empower engineering teams to deploy code with confidence, consistency, and minimal manual intervention.
- Gain experience with SW engineering and DevOps tools (such as monitoring, alerting and orchestration) as part of the Garmin development process.
- Collaborate and add value through participation in architectural reviews, providing suggestions for automation, performance optimization, and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system bottlenecks through thorough root cause analysis, ensuring continuous operational stability.
- Work collaboratively within cross‑functional teams (Developers, QA, and Architects) to achieve common goals.
What you'll need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in technical disciplines (Computer Science, Engineering, or similar) and 2 years relevant experience as a DevOps Engineer.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud platform and cloud services scalability best practices.
- Familiarity of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) development, specifically with Bicep.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (containers orchestration).
- Proficiency with scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell , Python, Bash).
- Understanding of CI/CD principles and automation workflows.
- Thorough understanding of computing fundamentals: networking, security, and operating systems (Linux/Windows).
- Must be team‑oriented, possess a positive attitude, and work well with others.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to troubleshoot infrastructure issues.
- Fluent in English.
Bonus points if you have:
- Knowledge of AWS cloud platform and the usage of CloudFormation.
- Experience with ADO (Azure DevOps) / Git.
- Knowledge of automation tools such as Jenkins or Zuul.
- Database administration skills (SQL/NoSQL) and experience in managing data persistence layers.
- Familiarity with marine environment technology, navigation and devices.

Pay Range : €34.000 – €42.000
