highly available SaaS platform
that is commonly used by healthcare teams across the UK. Responsibilities Design, implement, test and improve automated deployment, configuration and upgrade processes across infrastructure, applications and supporting services. Ensure platform security, scalability and high availability, with a focus on zero downtime. Proactively monitor and maintain
Kubernetes
clusters, identifying and resolving issues before they impact service. Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis and implement preventative measures. Plan, test and deliver infrastructure and application upgrades. Develop, test and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions. Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and improve platform performance. Requirements BSc in Computer Science or equivalent experience. Strong hands-on experience with
Kubernetes, Linux and Bash scripting
. Experience with cloud platforms or self-service infrastructure frameworks such as Azure, AWS, Google Cloud or OpenStack. Proven experience developing and supporting Infrastructure as Code using
Terraform and Ansible
. Experience creating, managing and testing backup and recovery plans. Solid background in DevOps practices, GitOps, CI/CD pipelines and automation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of
ArgoCD
