About the Role
We are looking for a Senior/Junior DevOps Engineer to help build, operate, and optimize the infrastructure that powers VinFast's large-scale R&D and product development projects.
In this role, you will work across both Cloud and On-Premise environments , contributing to the design and operation of modern platforms including CI/CD, Kubernetes, Monitoring, Databases, Security, and Infrastructure Automation . You'll collaborate closely with software engineering teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and highly automated infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain infrastructure across Cloud and On-Premise environments.
- Build, optimize, and automate CI/CD pipelines for software development projects.
- Manage and enhance Kubernetes clusters, container platforms, and middleware services.
- Develop and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure platform reliability and observability.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve system performance, scalability, and availability.
- Investigate production incidents, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implement preventive solutions.
- Apply security best practices, optimize infrastructure costs, and continuously improve operational efficiency.
Requirements
Must-Have
- Junior: 1–3 years of experience in DevOps, System Engineering, Platform Engineering, or a related field.
- Senior: 3–5 years of relevant experience with proven hands-on expertise.
- Practical experience with both Cloud and On-Premise infrastructure.
- Strong Linux administration and infrastructure automation skills.
- Hands-on experience deploying and operating production-grade Kubernetes clusters.
- Solid understanding of Networking, Security, Monitoring, and CI/CD practices.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- High sense of ownership with a proactive mindset and the ability to solve complex technical challenges.
Nice to Have
- Experience with AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) .
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible .
- Knowledge of Service Mesh, Observability, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Platform Engineering .
- Experience working in large-scale distributed systems or R&D environments.
