DevOps Engineer
Position: DevOps Engineer Experience: 3–5 Years Location: Pune
We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Jenkins, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Harbor, Linux, scripting, Infrastructure as Code, Git, and monitoring tools. The role will focus on automating deployments, managing containerized environments, improving CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring platform reliability and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Develop and manage Jenkins Pipelines using Groovy, shared libraries, plugins, and multi-branch pipelines.
- Deploy, configure, manage, and troubleshoot Kubernetes workloads and clusters.
- Work with Kubernetes Deployments, Services, Ingress, ConfigMaps, Secrets, CRDs, networking, and storage.
- Deploy and manage OpenShift Container Platform (OCP 4.x preferred).
- Work with OpenShift Projects, Routes, BuildConfigs, and ImageStreams.
- Administer Harbor container registry, including projects, RBAC, replication, vulnerability scanning, and webhook integrations.
- Develop automation and tooling using Bash, Python, or Go.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
- Manage Git repositories, branching strategies, pull requests, and code review workflows.
- Monitor applications and infrastructure using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, or similar observability platforms.
- Perform Linux administration, troubleshooting, and system-level automation.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to improve deployment processes and platform reliability.
Required Skills
Jenkins: Hands-on experience with Jenkins Pipeline (Groovy), shared libraries, plugin management, and multi-branch pipelines.
Kubernetes: Strong understanding of Kubernetes architecture, objects, networking, storage, deployments, services, ingress, ConfigMaps, Secrets, CRDs, and troubleshooting.
OpenShift: Practical experience with OpenShift, preferably OCP 4.x, including Routes, Projects, BuildConfigs, and ImageStreams.
Harbor: Experience administering Harbor registry, including RBAC, replication, vulnerability scanning, projects, and webhooks.
Scripting: Proficiency in Bash, Python, or Go.
Infrastructure as Code: Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or similar IaC tools.
Version Control: Strong Git knowledge, including branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews.
Monitoring: Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, or similar monitoring and observability tools.
Operating Systems: Strong Linux administration skills with RHEL, CentOS, or Ubuntu.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
Experience
3–5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineering, or a related role.
