Job Summary
Responsibilities :
- Understand the current tech setup, replicate environments, and identify areas for improvement.
- Configure the existing stack to be deployable using IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Deploy the new tech stack in two regions utilizing Terraform.
- Configure security groups for high availability.
- Automate deployment processes based on user actions.
- Implement self-service configuration and deployment capabilities.
- Keep CI/CD integration in mind and ensure compatibility with the pipeline.
- Focus on improving software reliability, quality, and time-to-market.
Job Requirements
- Great English proficiency (B2+ written and spoken).
- 9+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or SRE.
- Impeccable punctuality, recognizing the importance of meeting schedules.
- Extensive experience with Terraform or CloudFormation for provisioning AWS infrastructure.
- History of re-architecting services for high availability and resiliency.
- Solid AWS experience.
- Proven ability as a self-starter, taking initiative and working autonomously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with CI/CD, aiming to integrate the stack into a pipeline.
- Previous experience deploying multi-region architecture.
- A continuous improvement mindset.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time consultancy, with up to 40 weekly hours during regular business times. We operate under a flexible core hours policy to accommodate various schedules, allowing consultants to perform during their peak productivity times. Additionally, we offer the flexibility to work remotely.
