We are looking for a seasoned Lead DevOps Engineer to spearhead the development, deployment, and optimization of cutting-edge software workflow automation systems. In this leadership role, you will oversee a team of DevOps engineers, collaborate with a world-class group of professionals, and drive the modernization and scaling of end-to-end SW processes for hardware testing environments, leveraging both internal and cloud-based tools.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, setting strategy and mentoring team members
- Develop and oversee the creation of automation scripts and tools in Python to streamline build and deployment processes while coaching junior engineers
- Manage, optimize, and scale PostgreSQL databases to ensure seamless support for software deployment workflows
- Drive strategic collaboration with cross-functional teams to integrate internal tools like SimCloud, Device Compute, and Turi into automated workflows at scale
- Proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance infrastructure to ensure high availability and peak performance of build systems, and drive adoption of advanced monitoring practices
- Define and enforce best practices for system security, scalability, and long-term reliability, working to align the team’s efforts with organizational goals
- Conduct in-depth analysis of existing build systems, leading initiatives to modernize approaches and improve developer workflow adoption
- Leverage and strategically integrate compute platforms like RIO, Kube, and other internal services to optimize workflow automation for complex environments
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for processes, workflows, and system architecture, fostering transparency, scalability, and team knowledge sharing
- Provide technical leadership, coaching, and performance feedback to team members, fostering growth and innovation across the team
Requirements :
- 5+ years of working experience in DevOps, system engineering, or software development, with at least 1 year in a leadership or team lead capacity
- High proficiency in Jenkins, Python, and PostgreSQL for CI/CD, workflow automation, and database management in complex systems
- Advanced familiarity with internal tools like SimCloud and Turi, alongside experience with cloud-based compute platforms such as RIO and Kube
- Proven capability to design, deploy, and maintain high-performance, scalable systems in large-scale, mission-critical software development environments
- Strong strategic understanding of modern development methodologies, such as Agile and DevOps practices, with a focus on driving team-wide adoption of workflow automation
- Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, including the ability to resolve infrastructure or system issues under pressure
- Extensive experience modernizing and replacing legacy build systems with streamlined workflows to enable higher development efficiencies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (B2+ level)

- Experience working directly within hardware testing environments or managing DevOps pipelines that support hardware engineering teams
- Proven ability to abstract and integrate legacy tools into new automated systems without disrupting critical workflows
- Deep understanding of hybrid solutions that combine on-premise and cloud-based compute resources to achieve balanced performance and cost efficiency
