EL1 Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (Developer)
Duration: 36-month contract with possibility to extend less than 12-months
Location: ACT (Onsite, with flexible arrangements considered)
Hourly Rate: $110 - $118 p/h
Clearance: Must be able to obtain Negative Vetting 1
Our government client is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to design, develop, and support complex enterprise applications within a secure technology environment. Strong experience in full stack development, API and systems integration, cloud-native applications, DevSecOps practices, and secure software development is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse complex business and technical requirements and recommend solution designs.
- Design, develop, and enhance user interfaces, integrations, and enterprise applications.
- Implement software changes and collaborate with testing, release, and operational teams.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver effective solutions.
- Provide mentoring, knowledge transfer, and technical leadership to team members.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Strong experience in full stack software development.
- Experience developing APIs and integrating enterprise systems.
- Knowledge of cloud-native application development and modern software architectures.
- Experience with DevSecOps, automation, and secure software development practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience working within complex ICT environments and contributing to technical uplift initiatives.
