Role: ETL Developer with Snowflake

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced ETL Developer with Snowflake expertise to design, develop, and maintain scalable data integration and ETL/ELT solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong experience with Snowflake, SQL, ETL tools, data pipelines, and data warehousing.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines.
- Develop and optimize data solutions using Snowflake.
- Extract data from databases, APIs, files, and other source systems.
- Transform and load data into Snowflake data warehouses.
- Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformations.
- Develop data integration workflows using ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, or Matillion.
- Implement data quality checks, validation, and error-handling processes.
- Optimize Snowflake queries, warehouse performance, and data-loading processes.
- Work with large volumes of structured and semi-structured data such as JSON, CSV, and Parquet.
- Develop and maintain data models, including fact and dimension tables.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Architects, BI Developers, and business teams.
- Troubleshoot data pipeline failures and resolve production issues.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and documentation.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in ETL/ELT development.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake.
- Strong SQL and data warehousing skills.
- Experience developing and maintaining data pipelines.
- Experience with at least one ETL tool: Informatica, Talend, SSIS, Matillion, or DataStage.
- Knowledge of data modeling, including Star Schema and Dimensional Modeling.
- Experience with data loading and transformation.
- Understanding of performance tuning and optimization.
Experience with Git and CI/CD is preferred
