Role Overview
We are seeking a Flutter & Mobile Application Developer with 3+ years of experience to join our mobile engineering team. In this role, you will develop and maintain high-performance, cross-platform mobile applications on iOS and Android.
You will work on building responsive user interfaces, implementing offline-first architecture, integrating Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) peripherals, writing automated test suites, and collaborating closely with our web engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
- Cross-Platform Mobile Development : Design, build, and maintain high-performance mobile applications for iOS and Android using Flutter.
- Architecture & State Management: Implement scalable application architecture, robust state management, and clean code principles.
- Automated Testing & Quality Assurance: Write unit, widget, and integration tests to maintain high code coverage, reliability, and stability.
- Offline Data & Synchronization: Build offline-first data persistence strategies and background data synchronization workflows.
- Hardware & Sensor Integration: Integrate Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) peripherals and external sensors for real-time data streaming.
- Native Platform Integration: Develop and maintain native mobile integrations for platformspecific capabilities and device permissions.
- Cross-Platform & Web Parity: Collaborate with web engineering teams to align mobile features and business logic with web applications (experience with React and React Native is a plus).
- UI/UX & Responsive Layouts: Create intuitive, highly responsive user interfaces tailored for mobile and tablet screen sizes.
- CI/CD & App Deployment: Support continuous integration pipelines, automated builds, and deployment releases to the App Store and Google Play.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 3+ years of professional experience in mobile application development, with proven deployments using React Native must and Flutter .
- React Native: Deep understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, React fundamentals, state management (Redux, Context API), and modern ecosystem tools (Expo, Hermes engine).
- Flutter: Solid grasp of Dart, widget trees, state management (Provider, Riverpod, Bloc), and custom UI rendering pipelines.
Engineering Best Practices:
- Strong advocate for automated testing (Unit, Integration, and E2E testing).
- Strict adherence to dependency management and upgrade safety (verifying breaking changes before major version updates).
- API Integration: Experience integrating RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and secure local storage mechanisms.
- SDLC & Metrics: Familiarity with agile delivery pipelines, CI/CD tooling for mobile, and tracking delivery efficiency using DORA metrics. 3+ years of experience in mobile application development with Flutter & Dart.
- State Management: Proven experience with modern reactive state management patterns.
- Testing: Hands-on experience writing automated unit, widget, and integration tests.
- Data & APIs: Strong background in RESTful APIs, JSON data handling, offline storage, and data synchronization.
- Native Knowledge: Basic working knowledge of native iOS and Android build environments, permissions, and platform integration.
- Peripherals (Plus): Experience or strong interest in Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) device communication.
- Web Alignment (Plus): Familiarity or experience with React / web technologies is a plus.
- CS Fundamentals: Good understanding of Git workflows, code reviews, and mobile release cycles.
