Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, test and maintain high-quality, secure & stable code for use by other teams to deliver products and solutions for customers.
  • Participate in design and code reviews.
  • Develop estimates for tasks, evaluate risks and identify dependencies, to aid in planning.
  • Work as part of a very collaborative team of software engineers, QAs and designers in Toronto and potentially other worldwide engineering sites.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5-6 years of professional experience as a Software Developer or similar role.
  • Outstanding programming, debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Hands-on professional experience developing production software with AI coding assistants (e.g. Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) as part of a daily workflow.
  • Experience and familiarity in using web-based technologies, concepts, and constructs.
  • Strong, demonstrable interest in software architecture and design.
  • Knowledge of source control systems, especially Git & GitHub.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with developing web applications in a modular, componentized manner.
  • Experience with Agile methodology.
  • Experience with usage of Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Familiarity with test automation tools & strategies.
