We’re making security suck less for developers.
Security tools haven’t kept up with how software is built today. They interrupt teams, slow releases, and turn security into a bottleneck instead of a capability. We built Aikido to change that. Aikido builds developer-first security products that reduce real risk without getting in the way of shipping software. We focus on what actually matters and automate the rest.
We’re taking on legacy security tools that teams have been stuck with, and we’re winning. If you want to help us take market share and build products developers actually enjoy using, you’re in the right place.
Founded in 2022 by third-time founders, Aikido has $85M in the bank and a long runway ahead. We’re building toward self-securing software. Join an all-star team. Take real ownership. Push boundaries. Build things that matter.
We're looking for a Full Stack Developer (Cloud) to help scale Aikido's cloud platform.
Build end-to-end features across Aikido's cloud security products (CSPM, Kubernetes Security, Cloud Inventory, Reachability and more)
Design and implement scalable backend services in Go
Ship production-ready user-facing functionality across the entire stack
Research AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and Kubernetes to turn complex cloud concepts into intuitive security features
Work directly with customers to understand real-world cloud security problems and help solve them
Collaborate with the rest of engineering to integrate cloud capabilities into the core Aikido platform
Take ownership of features from idea to production, including testing, documentation and maintenance
Requirements
Strong software engineering experience with Go (or another backend language and willingness to learn Go)
Experience building production software, not just operating infrastructure
Comfortable working across the stack when a feature requires it
Solid understanding of at least one public cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
Experience with Kubernetes and modern cloud-native architectures
Curious enough to research unfamiliar cloud services and quickly turn that knowledge into product features
Comfortable discussing technical problems directly with customers
Really comfortable in a fast-moving startup environment
Willing to experiment, iterate quickly, and occasionally throw code away
Mid-level to Senior: we're growing fast and need people who can own features independently
Fluent in English and able to work within the CEST timezone
