Applications Development Lead Programmer Analyst
Required Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
- 7–10+ years of experience in application development
- Advanced expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and microservices architecture
- Strong experience with API design, SQL, and distributed systems
- Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor teams
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms (preferred), and DevOps practices
Overview:
The Applications Development Lead Programmer Analyst is a senior technical role responsible for leading application development initiatives and driving design decisions across systems. This role provides hands-on leadership in building scalable Java and Angular solutions while guiding teams and influencing architecture and best practices.
Job Duties:
- Lead design and development of complex full-stack applications using Java and Angular
- Own end-to-end delivery of application components, from design through deployment
- Drive architecture decisions and ensure alignment with enterprise standards
- Resolve high-impact technical challenges across systems and platforms
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers and provide technical guidance
- Partner with stakeholders to define system enhancements and strategic solutions
- Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and scalability of applications
- Lead testing strategies, code reviews, and deployment processes
- Identify risks and ensure compliance with governance and regulatory requirements
