The Senior Full-Stack Developer (Java & React) is responsible for designing, developing, and modernizing scalable enterprise web applications. This role focuses on transitioning legacy monolithic Java applications into modular, cloud-ready microservices using Spring Boot, while building intuitive front-end interfaces with React and Bootstrap. The developer ensures robust API design, database optimization, and maintains high-quality standards through comprehensive testing and CI/CD deployment workflows. This hybrid position requires onsite presence in the Trenton office three days per week.
Responsibilities:- Refactor legacy Java applications into modular Spring Boot microservices.
- Develop responsive front-end components using React, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
- Design and implement secure RESTful APIs.
- Optimize relational database schemas and performance, preferably with Oracle.
- Translate complex business requirements into maintainable technical solutions.
- Conduct developer-level testing using JUnit, Mockito, and React Testing Library.
- Manage application builds, deployments, and maintenance through CI/CD pipelines.
- Provide ongoing support and enhancements for enterprise web applications.
- 10+ years of experience in Java (Core & Modern) development.
- 7+ years experience in system refactoring and monolith modernization.
- 7+ years with Spring Framework including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate.
- 7+ years working with relational databases and data analysis.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with JavaScript and React.
- 5+ years experience with CSS and Bootstrap for front-end development.
- 5+ years designing and developing RESTful APIs.
- 5+ years experience in developer testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, and React Testing Library.
- 5+ years experience with software deployment and CI/CD tooling.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience with Oracle database management and SQL optimization (7+ years highly desired).
- Familiarity with cloud-ready service architectures and modular microservices.
- Hybrid work model requiring onsite presence in Trenton, NJ office three days per week.
- Strict approval required for absences longer than two weeks with mandatory contact information provided.
