We are building a ground-up platform to turn physical industrial equipment into interactive, high-fidelity digital models. You will be the architect of a new system that takes massive amounts of raw data and renders it into a 'one-stop shop' for 3D visualisation, heatmapping, and repair planning. This isn't just a dashboard; it's a high-performance engine designed to handle millions of data points with instant speed.
Responsibilities
3D Visuals and Graphics: Use Three.js and React Three Fibre to create custom 3D models of assets like tanks and pipes. You should be able to 'project' 2D data onto 3D surfaces so they wrap perfectly.
Speed and Performance: Write code (GLSL Shaders) that lets the computer's graphics card (GPU) do the heavy lifting. This ensures users can filter data or change colours instantly without the app freezing.
Mathematical Precision: Use Linear Algebra to make sure when a user draws a box or line on a curved 3D surface, it 'hugs' the surface and stays exactly where it belongs.
Cloud and Video Power: Set up AWS (S3 and Lambda) to store and process huge files, like high-definition inspection videos and dense sensor data, so they load quickly for users anywhere.
Smart Tools: Build interactive features where users can click on specific parts of a 3D model (like a valve or a weld) to see its data or edit its details.
