Job Title: WordPress Full‑Stack Developer (Contract)
Experience Required: 8 to 10 Years (Min. 3+ Years in Wordpress)

Location: Nashik/Pune, India

The job

We are seeking a Senior WordPress Full‑Stack Developer (Contract) to join our digital team through the end of the year. This role is ideal for a seasoned engineer with 8+ years of hands‑on experience building high‑quality, scalable, and secure WordPress websites using PHP, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and modern front‑end practices.


You will work closely with our Web Tech Lead, a junior developer, and our external web agency to deliver features, improvements, and optimizations across our global web estate. You will also collaborate directly with our Demand Generation team, executing a structured roadmap through ASANA and supporting fast‑moving marketing requirements.


Success in this role requires strong technical depth and clear, confident communication. You will be expected to work effectively within a mixed, globally distributed organisation, adapting to different communication styles, time zones, and cultural contexts while maintaining a collaborative and solutions‑focused approach.


The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in custom WordPress theme and plugin development, excellent problem‑solving skills, and experience operating within a modern marketing and web operations environment. Knowledge of Cloudflare, DNS management, web performance optimisation, and UX/UI best practices is a significant advantage.


This is a temporary full‑time contract role, running until the end of the calendar year.

Key responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and optimise WordPress websites, including custom themes, plugins, and headless integrations (Next.js).
Work closely with the Web Tech Lead, junior developer, external agency, and global stakeholders to deliver roadmap items.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve site performance using tools like New Relic, Datadog, and Query Monitor.
Support multilingual and multisite operations, ensuring stability, scalability, and consistency across regions.
Collaborate with the Demand Generation team through ASANA to deliver marketing and web requirements on schedule.

Essential requirements

Minimum 3+ years of hands‑on, production WordPress development (with a broader technical background totalling ~10 years).
Strong proficiency in WordPress, PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, including custom theme and plugin development.
Experience with headless WordPress setups, particularly using Next.js.
Working knowledge of performance monitoring, debugging tools, and web optimisation best practices.
Ability to operate effectively within a global, cross‑cultural team and communicate clearly in fast‑moving environments.
