We are seeking talented junior- to senior-level Full Stack Engineers in Hong Kong, Singapore or Zürich to help build LGT's cutting‑edge Digital Advisory Platform, enabling Relationship Managers to proactively engage with clients.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and test resilient, stateless, scalable, and reusable services and APIs primarily using Python for backend and data processing.
Build highly responsive and intuitive user interfaces using React/Next.js, emphasizing design patterns, reusability, code quality, and secure coding practices.
Collaborate closely with product managers, business analysts, and end‑users to understand business needs, analyze problems, and propose innovative technical solutions.
Architect and implement technical solutions that adhere to LGT's standards and deliver optimized client experience.
Develop AI solutions (automation, chatbots, agent‑based systems, MCP prototyping) and integrate them with existing business systems.
Establish and maintain a robust shared data foundation, designing and optimizing databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL) and writing effective platform APIs.
Automate and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and ArgoCD to ensure quality change, system responsiveness, and deployment efficiency.
Develop multi‑region deployment solutions, proactively addressing geo‑specific compliance requirements and localization challenges.
Ensure data integrity and security with industry best practices and LGT's security standards.
Drive and contribute to test automation efforts, ensuring quality at every stage of development.
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software to maintain high performance and reliability.
Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams to build reusable shared libraries and components.
Write clear, concise, and comprehensive technical documentation.
Senior‑Level Expectations
Mentor and coach junior team members, provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews, and enforce governance regarding application development and testing standards.
Demonstrate experience in technical leadership, mentoring, and driving best practices.
Requirements
Solid experience in full‑stack development with a strong emphasis on Python for backend and data engineering.
Proficiency in modern frontend development using React/Next.js, HTML, and CSS.
Experience with REST API development and designing/optimizing NoSQL (MongoDB) and RDBMS (PostgreSQL) databases.
Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes), and experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI/CD and ArgoCD.
Understanding of microservices architecture and cloud‑native application development.
Experience with or strong interest in AI‑assisted development, AI frameworks, and system integration with AI models.
Knowledge of basic algorithms, object‑oriented, and functional design principles and pattern best practices.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment and familiarity with lean development principles.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to articulate complex technical concepts.
Proactive, self‑motivated, solution‑driven attitude with passion for continuous process improvement.
Ability to work effectively in a small, globally distributed team environment and build trusted relationships across the organization.
Desirable Skills (A Plus)
Experience with observability tools such as OpenTelemetry.
Prior experience in investment products, private banking, wealth, or asset management.
Familiarity with geo‑specific compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, APAC regulations) and localization strategies.
