Some highlights of what you will be doing (at a minimum)
- Participate in project planning, Architecture Design, and scoping projects
- Take ownership of task timelines and deliverables, ensuring successful project completion
- Utilize MySQL to design and implement efficient database structures
- Ensure data integrity, security, and optimal performance of MySQL databases
- Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards, and best practices.
- Implement and maintain automated testing procedures to validate code quality
- Collaborate with the Technical Account Managers to receive customer feedback and understand their user needs.
- Utilize our Jira ticketing system to manage priorities and support users
- Work to master the use of THiiO technologies and are expected to help drive improvements in the system.
- Prepare and deliver reports to customers and internally
- Other duties as assigned
What it takes to do the job (skills, experience, education, training, certificates, etc.)
Must haves :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience as a Sr. Full Stack Developer or similar role
- Strong proficiency in PHP, Node.js and Vue.js for full-stack development
- Expertise in MySQL for database management
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle and agile methodologies
- Use of Test Driven Development (TDD)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects or modules simultaneously
- Experience with e-commerce technology stacks
Nice to haves :
- Familiarity with Python and Go
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with frameworks and/or Libraries Laravel, Express, Vuetify, and Flask
- Experience with Payment Platforms such as NMI, Stripe, PayPal, Braintree, Affirm, etc
- Participation in the development of VoIP and SMS using Twilio

- By receiving a performance evaluation 90 days after start date and then a minimum of once per year thereafter, if required by your manager

If working remotely, you will maintain a safe and secure work area that is free from distraction and unprofessional or distracting noises and comply with the company’s technology requirements
As an independent contractor, you will provide your own tools, but if the company elects to issue you with work-related equipment, you will be held responsible for maintaining them properly and pay for any damages

- Be capable of sitting for long periods of time, e.g. 4 hours without a break and 8-12 hours total on a daily basis, if needed
- Maintain a professional appearance for in-person and in-video meetings.
Salary : $20,000.00 - $30,000.00 per month
