Full Stack Developer

We are partnering with a major Australian enterprise currently investing heavily in modern application development, cloud technologies and digital transformation initiatives.

They are seeking a Full Stack Developer to join a high-performing engineering team responsible for designing, developing and supporting modern cloud-native applications used across the business. This role offers the opportunity to work across the full software development lifecycle, building scalable backend services, modern web applications and secure APIs within a Microsoft Azure environment.

The Role

Working closely with product, engineering and business stakeholders, you will contribute to the design and delivery of modern web applications and cloud-based solutions.

You will be involved in both frontend and backend development, helping to build scalable, maintainable and secure systems that support critical business operations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain full stack applications using C#, ASP.NET Core and Vue.js
• Build and enhance RESTful APIs and backend services
• Develop responsive and user-friendly frontend applications using Vue.js and TypeScript
• Work with relational databases to design and optimise data models and queries
• Contribute to cloud-native application development within Microsoft Azure
• Support the integration and management of APIs through Azure API Management (APIM)
• Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders and engineering teams to deliver new functionality
• Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews and development best practices
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes
• Troubleshoot, optimise and enhance existing applications and servicesEnsure solutions are secure, scalable and maintainable

Required Experience

• Commercial experience developing applications using C# and ASP.NET Core
• Experience building modern web applications using Vue.js, React or Angular
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs
• Experience working with SQL Server or other relational databases
• Understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns and clean coding practices
• Experience working within Agile development environments
• Entity Framework Core
• Docker and containerisation
• GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or CI/CD pipelines
• OAuth2, OpenID Connect and secure authentication frameworks
• Monitoring, logging and observability tools
