Job Summary

As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you are responsible to support the development and implementation of advanced digital solutions. This role is critical in enhancing the technological infrastructure and capabilities of the project, ensuring that the solutions are scalable, resilient, and aligned with modern cloud computing standards.

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer who will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and deploying cloud-native applications that will support the Sovereign Operations Project. This position will be full-time and hybrid.


The ideal candidate should have excellent technical skills, initiative, and excellent communication skills. Candidates must be flexible to work varying hours to support global markets, be willing to travel when necessary and be capable of adapting to an ever-changing environment.

What You'll Do

  • Develop scalable and robust cloud-native solutions

  • Ensure the architecture aligns with best practices for cloud-native applications, including microservices, containerization, and serverless computing

  • Develop front-end and back-end components using modern frameworks and technologies. Implement APIs and integrate with third-party services as required. Ensure code quality through rigorous testing and code reviews

  • Set up and configure cloud infrastructure using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) practices to automate deployment and scaling.

  • Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes

  • Ensure seamless integration and delivery of new features and updates

  • Prepare comprehensive documentation for the developed solutions, including architecture diagrams, code comments, and user guides. Provide training and support to the development team and stakeholders

What You'll Need

Required:

  • The candidate must possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree would be advantageous.

  • The candidate should have at least 5 years of professional experience in full stack development, with a strong emphasis on cloud-native design and architecture.

  • Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular.

  • Expertise in back-end development using languages such as Node.js, Python, or Java.

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including services like Kubernetes, Docker, and serverless computing.

  • Strong understanding of database technologies, both SQL and NoSQL

  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure as code.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
