As a Senior Full Stack Developer (Python & Angular) at Emergn you will work across both the Angular frontend and Python backend of our core product, taking ownership of technical decisions and helping shape how our cross-functional delivery team builds and delivers software.

We want you to:
- Take ownership of features end-to-end, from architecture and design through to deployment and support.
- Collaborate with product owners, designers, and engineers to build high-quality software.
- Drive task planning, estimation, and prioritisation within the team.
- Lead and participate in code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality.
- Engage in pair programming to tackle complex problems, sharing knowledge with less experienced team members.
- Proactively reach out to other team members to discuss architecture and approach decisions.
- Support incident response efforts in line with the Incident Response Policy.
This job might be for you if you have:
- 5+ years of commercial experience in either Angular or Python, with solid commercial experience in the other technology.
- Proven experience designing and building REST APIs for modern web applications.
- Strong, up-to-date knowledge of the latest Angular versions and modern Python frameworks such as Flask or FastAPI.
- Fluent in Git, with solid experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
- A pragmatic approach to problem-solving and delivery, balancing technical considerations against customer demands for rapid feature delivery.
- Strong ownership instincts, using initiative to inform decisions and knowing when to ask for help.
- Experience working in a cross-functional team, with the ability to quickly build relationships across disciplines.
You might also have:
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience mentoring or supporting the growth of junior developers.
- Familiarity with tools like NgRx, RxJS, or Ionic.
- Exposure to SOX control requirements in a regulated environment.

- This position is remote-based in Portugal.
