Full Stack Developer (React, Java, API)

Greenlight Worldwide e are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer with a strong focus on React development and solid experience in Java backend/API development for a 6 month contract based in Melbourne.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain modern, responsive web applications using React.
• Build reusable UI components and implement front-end best practices.
• Develop, enhance, and support RESTful APIs and backend services using Java.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and development teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Integrate front-end applications with backend services and third-party systems.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Contribute to solution design and technical decision‑making.

Requirements

• Strong hands‑on experience with React.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Solid Java development experience using frameworks such as Spring Boot.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and API integration patterns.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile delivery methodologies.
• Strong problem‑solving and debugging skills.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and DevOps practices.
