We're looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer with strong expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, AWS Serverless, and Next.js to join a high-performing engineering team in Amsterdam.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable full-stack applications using TypeScript, Node.js, and Next.js.
- Build and maintain serverless solutions on AWS Lambda and related AWS services.
- Develop and consume GraphQL APIs.
- Implement event-driven integrations using SQS, SNS, and EventBridge.
- Contribute to cloud infrastructure using AWS CDK.
- Monitor and optimize application performance using CloudWatch and OpenTelemetry.
- Work closely with product, engineering, and architecture teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Required Skills
6-8 years of software engineering experience
Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and TypeScript (backend expertise is essential)
Experience building frontend applications using Next.js and TypeScript
Strong knowledge of AWS Serverless technologies, especially Lambda
Experience with GraphQL and API design
Knowledge of DynamoDB
Experience with event-driven architecture and integration patterns (SQS, SNS, EventBridge)
Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools
Important Note
- Next.js experience is mandatory.
- Candidates with only React experience will not be considered.
