Kleo is an AI‑native platform that helps SMEs and scale‑ups find, match, manage, and monitor their entire financing stack—including public grants, bank lending, and private capital—through automated, end‑to‑end workflows. We replace a traditionally slow, manual, relationship‑driven process with software.
Job Overview
We're growing fast and looking for a talented Senior Fullstack Developer to join the engineering team and help us scale across Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Play a key role in building and optimizing Kleo's platform end to end, from the API and data layer (NestJS, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, REST) to the user‑facing product (React, Next.js, TypeScript).
- Integrate AI and LLM solutions to automate financing workflows and enhance platform performance.
- Work across both coding and DevOps, contributing to the full product lifecycle from code to deployment.
- Own development end to end, from design decisions to production, and be accountable for what ships.
Qualifications and Experience
- Strong track record in full‑stack web development with the judgment to make sound architectural decisions and a willingness to learn in a fast‑paced startup.
- Advanced PostgreSQL skills: query optimization, indexing strategy, execution‑plan analysis, and modelling for data‑intensive workloads.
- Solid experience building APIs with NestJS (or equivalent) in TypeScript.
- Strong React skills, including modern patterns (hooks, composition, state management) and building maintainable component architectures.
- Confident with Tailwind CSS and modern CSS3 (layout, responsive design, animations), able to translate designs into pixel‑accurate, accessible UI.
- Concern for frontend performance, accessibility (a11y), and UX details.
- Strong AWS and cloud‑native experience with a DevOps mindset across the full lifecycle (containers, CI/CD, observability).
- Comfortable sharing types and logic across backend and frontend in a TypeScript codebase.
- Experience with Next.js 14+ and the App Router, and with TanStack (Query, Table, Router) or similar libraries.
- Intermediate–high English proficiency for technical communication.
