About the Role:
Client is looking for a full stack engineer to support and modernize their enterprise technology stack. This person will work across the full software development lifecycle including front-end development, back-end services, database design, system integration, deployment, and ongoing operational support. The organization is actively moving from on-premises infrastructure to cloud-ready architecture and needs someone who has lived through that kind of transition. While the technical bar is real, this is a junior to mid-level position -- the right candidate has 5+ years of experience, solid fundamentals, and the ability to grow into more responsibility over time.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of Java experience. Currently on Java 17 but 11 is acceptable. Solid Java fundamentals required including an understanding of micro threading and data structures. They follow Domain Driven Design (DDD).
- System design experience including conceptual knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD principles.
- Experience working in both on-premises and cloud environments. The ideal candidate has supported on-premises systems and participated in or been exposed to cloud migration. They use Azure, but AWS or GCP experience is acceptable.
- React or Angular for front-end development
- Backend services and RESTful APIs using Spring Boot, Node.js, or Python
- Microservices architecture
- Docker and Kubernetes
- SQL and database design
- Agile/Scrum experience
