Responsibilities
Design and develop backend services using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA following secured API‑first principles.
Design and develop frontend applications using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS, ensuring usability, accessibility, and performance.
Implement and maintain RESTful APIs and integrations with upstream and downstream enterprise systems.
Develop and maintain database schemas and queries using RDBMS technologies.
Ensure solutions meet non‑functional requirements including security, performance, resiliency, logging and monitoring.
Apply secure coding practices and support vulnerability remediation and dependency management.
Translate user needs into technical specifications by understanding, conceptualizing, and facilitating technical requirements from user.
Analyze, develop, test, and implement new software programs, and document the entire software development life cycle execution.
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting and fault rectification of system and core software components.
Ensure that code/configurations adhere to the security, logging, error handling, and performance standards and non‑functional requirements.
Evaluate new technologies for fit with the program/system/ecosystem and the associated upstream and downstream impacts on process, data, and risk.
Follow release management processes and standards, and apply version controls.
Assist in interpreting and documentation of client requirements.
Focus is primarily on business/group within BMO; may have broader, enterprise‑wide focus.
Exercise judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules.
Work independently on a range of complex tasks, which may include unique situations.
Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.

Hybrid Work Arrangement Hybrid – 2/3 days a week in the office.
Salary $61,600.00 - $113,900.00
