Full-Stack .NET Developer – Frontend Focus
We are seeking a highly skilled Full-Stack .NET Developer with a strong emphasis on frontend/UI development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming requirements, use cases, UML/BPMN diagrams, workflows, wireframes, and technical designs into functional, scalable software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Convert requirements, workflows, and wireframes into functional software.
- Develop prototypes and proof-of-concepts to validate ideas.
- Build and maintain both frontend and backend functionality.
- Implement business logic, database functionality, and REST APIs.
- Write and execute unit/integration tests to ensure quality.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize applications for performance.
- Maintain clean, well-structured, and maintainable code following best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver intuitive, modern, and professional user interfaces.
- Adjust responsibilities based on demonstrated skills, experience, and strengths.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Proven experience in full-stack development with a strong focus on frontend/UI.
- Demonstrated ability to turn designs and functional requirements into polished, user-friendly interfaces.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in C#, .NET/ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, PostgreSQL, REST APIs, Git/GitHub.
- Strong frontend skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, UI/UX development.
- Experience with Visual Studio, Azure, Azure Storage, and Azure DevOps.
- Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, software architecture, and database design.
- Strong skills in testing, debugging, and problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality, maintainable code.
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to clean, professional UI design.
- Ability to adapt to evolving requirements and responsibilities.
Work Schedule
- Flexible, 40 hrs/week
- Ideal schedule: 7 PM – 4 AM ET (Montreal/New York).
- Acceptable alternatives: 8 PM – 5 AM EST or similar.
- Must be available for a brief daily meeting around 7–8 PM ET.
- Initial engagement will be part-time (trial basis), with potential transition to full-time.
