As a Full Stack Software Engineer on PepsiCo’s dCommerce Nova program, you will drive end-to-end product capabilities that connect backend systems with user experiences. You’ll collaborate with UX/Product and engineering leadership to refine scope, plan delivery, and iterate with prototypes and measurable outcomes. You’ll build robust APIs, data integrations, and delightful frontend interfaces, while upholding quality, performance, and scalability. This role places you at the core of transforming digital shelf intelligence and AI-enabled features to accelerate digital commerce growth. Compensaciones / Beneficios
• Own end-to-end product development for Nova, from backend integrations to user-facing features
• Collaborate with UX/Product and leadership to refine requirements and delivery sequencing
• Provide accurate estimates, identify dependencies, and manage risks to maintain delivery predictability
• Balance short-term feature delivery with long-term maintainability through architectural improvements
• Design and implement backend services, APIs, and integrations with enterprise systems
• Develop frontend applications with emphasis on usability, performance, accessibility
• Define API contracts, data models, and integration patterns for cross-component reliability
• Act as technical anchor for the squad, guiding design decisions and mentoring peers
• Ensure code quality with automated tests, CI/CD, observability, and reliable release practices
• Collaborate across data engineering, BI engineering, and data science to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Mentor others through reviews and pairing; drive continuous improvement and knowledge sharing
• Stay current with full-stack/platform technologies and drive pragmatic innovation
Responsabilidades
• 5+ years in software engineering
• Experience collaborating with data engineers, BI engineers, data scientists, and product managers
• Strong foundation to evaluate architecture and guide technical decisions across frontend and backend
• Experience with Elixir or similar xqbhyrx functional languages, or willingness to learn
• Familiarity with modern data stack (Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, Azure, AWS, etc)
• Understanding of BI tools and ML integrations within products
• Experience establishing engineering best practices in growing/maturing environments
• Exposure to data science or ML-enabled features via APIs or production pipelines
• Experience with clean architecture, testing, CI/CD, documentation, and code reviews
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and evolving scope
• Strong prioritization skills for long-term scalability vs. short-term delivery
