We are looking for a highly motivated programmer to join a fast-paced Web Application Development team building and updating mission-critical systems.
Logistics & Culture
- Location: Columbia, SC (29210)
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days onsite per week) subject to change to fully onsite with little notice.
- Candidate Note: Must be a South Carolina resident or willing to relocate prior to starting at your own expense.
- Interview Process: 2 Rounds (Both Virtual)
- Environment: Agile, business casual, heavily collaborative design with freedom to work independently.
Core Technical Stack
Required Experience:
- 3+ Years: Designing medium-to-large software systems using .NET architectures and N-tier web systems.
- 3+ Years: Core backend development using C# and ASP.NET.
- 2+ Years: Frontend interaction using jQuery.
- 2+ Years: Service orientation using WCF.
Environments & Tools You Will Use:
- Frameworks: ASP.NET MVC (3 or higher), Entity Framework 6, .NET
- Frontend UI: Angular, PrimeNG, Responsive Design
- Database & Reporting: MS SQL Server 2016, SSRS
- ALM/Dev Tools: Visual Studio (2019/2022), TFS (Team Foundation Server), IIS
Daily Responsibilities
- Code both visual web interfaces and web services.
- Maintain, update, and integrate legacy applications into a larger integrated system.
- Design, document, and debug subsystems consisting of object-oriented components.
- Write unit tests and participate in integrated test sessions on test and production servers.
- Mentor junior and aspiring software development engineers.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a quantitative discipline, or equivalent work experience.
