Location: Lisbon, Portugal (Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week)

Start Date: Immediate

Contract: Initial 6-month contract with a strong possibility of extension

About the Rol

eWe are looking for an experienced Senior Java Backend Developer to join a strategic omnichannel retail transformation project. You will play a key role in designing and developing integrations between e-commerce platforms and physical retail operations, helping deliver seamless customer experiences across digital and in-store channels

.Key Responsibilitie

• sDesign, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using modern Java technologies
• .Build and support integrations between e-commerce platforms, OMS solutions, and retail systems
• .Develop and maintain microservices-based architectures
• .Create and optimize RESTful APIs for internal and external integrations
• .Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver omnichannel retail capabilities
• .Contribute to DevOps and CI/CD practices to ensure reliable and efficient deployments

.Required Experienc

• eProven experience with Java 17+ in production environments
• .Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot and the broader Spring ecosystem
• .Experience developing and supporting Microservices Architectures
• .Solid knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• .Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs
• .Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD practices
