We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Java Developer with Azure knowledge to join our e-commerce fulfillment team. In this leadership role, you will be pivotal in driving the development of robust and scalable software solutions tailored to our e-commerce operations. Your expertise will help us enhance system efficiencies and streamline our order fulfillment processes, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and develop scalable microservices using Java 8
- Implement robust e-commerce order fulfillment systems
- Optimize PostgreSQL database performance for high-volume order processing
- Implement efficient caching strategies using Redis
- Develop event-driven systems using Kafka for order status updates
- Implement cloud-native solutions using Azure services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in code reviews
- Lead the integration of third-party services and APIs to enhance system capabilities
- Mentor junior developers and oversee their professional growth
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the development team
- Ensure system security and data protection best practices are adhered to
- Manage project timelines and deliverables in coordination with other team leads
REQUIREMENTS :
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Java Developer
- At least one year of leadership and team management experience
- Advanced proficiency in Spring Boot and Spring MVC, with a strong understanding of RESTful API development
- Solid understanding of PostgreSQL and caching mechanisms with Redis
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services, including Azure Functions and Azure Kubernetes Service
- Experience with Apache Kafka for distributed event streaming
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of effectively leading cross-functional teams
- Experience in Agile (Scrum) environments with a strong grasp of microservices architecture patterns and associated challenges
- Fluent in English with strong communication skills at a B2 level or higher
