ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a
Senior Backend Engineer to build and maintain production-grade microservices and distributed systems, developing backend features that support AI-enabled product experiences. You will design and maintain RESTful APIs following API lifecycle best practices, work across Java, Spring Boot, and Gradle, and integrate LLM-based workflows and AI service API patterns into scalable backend architecture. The role requires fault-tolerant system design experience and strong performance tuning skills across PostgreSQL or MySQL environments.

- Upper-intermediate English level.
NICE TO HAVES
- Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or event-driven architectures.

- Experience integrating LLM/AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.).
- Prior remote contracting experience.
- Cross-functional leadership experience.
