Role: Java Engineer
Location: Remote
Contract duration: 8+ months
Responsibilities:
- As a Custom Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing custom software solutions by designing, coding, and enhancing components across systems or applications.
- Your day-to-day activities will involve using modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable and high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.
- You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively, take responsibility for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key decisions.
- Providing solutions to problems within your immediate team and across multiple teams is a critical part of this role. Advanced proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS) is required.
- Advanced proficiency in JavaScript is recommended. Apply deep technical knowledge to design and implement innovative software features that meet evolving business requirements.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software components.
- Support and guide colleagues by sharing expertise and fostering a collaborative learning environment.
- Analyze complex challenges and propose effective solutions that enhance system performance and reliability.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to optimize development processes and tools.
